Food & wine take centre stage here at No.1 with a great variety of menus and dining options to be found throughout the house. Our new addition The Long Room offers an Irish produce driven menu along with organic & biodynamic wine list while Sash offers an intimate dining space for that special occasion.

No.1 has often been described as a hotel all about wine. Our list reflects Patricia’s interest and passion to support the small independent boutique producer and to be able to offer our guests handpicked interesting quality wines, organic where possible with great stories and most importantly affordable prices. Wine producers Liam & Sinead Cabot have been by my side since opening our doors and have been a guiding light in terms of choice for our guests.

HEAD CHEF – Mark Belton

Mark Belton a British native who has spent many years of his career in New Zealand, met his Irish wife through the restaurant business is now settled locally with his wife and children. Mark is passionate about quality, great produce & creating interesting food. Delivering great taste in all our dishes is a priority for our guests enjoyment. Mark & the kitchen team look forward to welcoming you to a food & wine experience with a difference.


The menu at The Long Room is all about simplicity and pride. Inspired by our wonderful producers — not just from Limerick and its environs, but from the whole island — our role is to source the best ingredients and present them simply to showcase their flavour and the love that has gone into making them.


Sash has a menu that is quietly confident and traditional with a focus on home cooking with an extra layer of sophistication, Sash dishes also use herbs and ingredients grown in No. 1 Pery Square’s own kitchen gardens whenever possible.
