A COUNTRY HOUSE IN THE CITY
No. 1 Pery Square faces the city’s favourite park, a 10-acre Victorian park laid out in classical style, complete with fountains, bandstands and playgrounds, which has scores of mature trees inside its old-world park railings.
Those trees, and the bells from surrounding churches, are the soundtrack to any stay in No. 1 Pery Square as, despite being just two blocks from O’Connell Street, the city’s main thoroughfare, this section of the Georgian Quarter is quiet and peaceful in the mornings and evenings. The setting feels more like that of a country house – in fact it feels almost pastoral.
A CITY OASIS
A real city oasis, No.1 Pery Square is an immaculate and exquisite boutique hotel & restaurant, the result of passionate commitment and meticulous attention to detail, as well as an inspirational sense of love and respect for this house and for the period of which it is such a fine example.
The most stately but comfortable small hotel, grand but cosy, this glorious Georgian townhouse is a sophisticated and thoughtful Irish owner-run hotel in a beautiful building in a gorgeous and historic part of Limerick.
THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME
If the original owners of this Georgian city home showed up on the doorstep tomorrow they would recognise not just the stunning rooms and fine features of the house they once knew, but also the same sense of old-fashioned, welcoming conviviality – relaxed and friendly, familiar not formal – so important in Georgian times. They would appreciate the elegant, thoughtful, Irish character of this superb hotel. They would feel like they had come home.
At No.1 and Sash Restaurant we cater for all occasions whether it be it a christening, birthday party, a gathering of family and friends or indeed a blessing or an intimate wedding. We have lots of ideas we can share with you to make your occasion more than memorable so please don’t hesitate to call us on (061) 402 402 or mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will take it from there.
THE DRAWING ROOM
The Drawing Room on the first floor is the heart of the house with a grand old original marble fireplace where the fire is lit daily. Afternoon Tea is served in the Drawing Room and is a real treat, and this exceptional room, with the adjoining Board Room, also makes a distinctive and exclusive setting for all kinds of Private Dining events, including important meetings, and gracious weddings for up to 80 guests.
